Best thing, for you, about being a Freemason? I joined Freemasonry in 1987 to support my father who had been a mason for 10 years

Interests outside of Freemasonry? I have a beautiful wife and three children, so clearly this is my special interest. My son
lives in Cardiff and plays principal cornet with the Cory Band, and brass banding in general and Cory Band and Black Dyke Band in particular are of special interest. I play golf to a handicap of around 20 and we have a dog which keeps us busy

What do you do for work? My careers have included:
European Director of Information Systems and Technology at Stanley Europe to 2004
Manager of Black Dyke Band 2008-2015
